We are excited to host our second European Hadoop Summit Bike Tour in Dublin!
Join fellow Hadoopers for an exhilarating, pre-Summit morning round-trip ride of 35km from the Convention Centre Dublin to the Summit at Howth Village, situated along the beautiful North coast of Dublin. Participants will enjoy wonderful views over the harbor and out to the bay as they ascend 117 meters along the route.The final 13kms is the exact route that competitors from the Giro D’Italia rode in 2014.
The ride is open to all Hadoop Summit attendees and is free of charge. For those who want to rent a road bike and helmet, there is a €55 charge. Space is limited for both the ride and bike rentals and you MUST register in advance if you wish to participate.
Limited edition Capo jerseys will be given to those who pre-register and participate in this ride. The ride will be approximately 2 hours. Refreshments and light breakfast items will be available pre and post ride.
